This is a vintage 1970's Missoni for Saks Fifth Avenue purple knit with metallic bronze lurex details. We love this outfit because you can wear each of the pieces separately or wear them together as a 2 piece dress. 

The top of this set has a double tiered ruffle with a front keyhole opening secured with a button closure. The bottom of the top has a tighter woven stretch waistband with the same kind of woven knit on the cuffs of the sleeves. The top has batwing/dolman style sleeves so it can accommodate a range of bust sizes.

The skirt has a thin elastic band and we love the tiered layers of fabric at the bottom. The top layer is also slightly looser and the bottom is more fitted to the body.

Made in Italy of 40% Silk, 40% Rayon and 20% Polyester. It is in excellent condition. The top is labeled size M, and the skirt is labeled size IT 42, and we estimate this would best fit a modern size 6/8.
