Ahh the Scots! It’s them that we have to thank for many classic patterns, particularly in the knitted form.
The Argyle pattern originally came from a tartan of the Campbell Clan of Argyll in Western Scotland. This scarf bears a simple Argyle pattern; traditionally there would be an extra intersecting line within the pattern. We think it’s great and we should all take a moment to honour the Scots for bringing it to us. Ok, so we’re not asking you to drop your dacks, don a kilt and blow your bagpipes, whilst downing a fresh plate of haggis and shortbread washed down with a good Whisky! We’re simply asking you to have a take a moment to thank the humble Scots.
